A Delhi University alumnus and lifelong entrepreneur, Mr. Amit Jain founded Rising Star Tours & Travels in 1998 — at a time when most Indian travel was still booked over the counter, phone call by phone call.
Nearly three decades later, that small Delhi office has become one of Delhi's most respected travel companies — Ministry of Tourism recognised and trusted by lakhs of families, corporates and groups. The team has grown and happy customers have increased manifolds. But the original promise — dependability and convenience for every traveller— hasn't changed.

In 2019, during a personal trip with his daughter, our founder Mr. Amit Jain met a group of visually-impaired travellers. They told him they too wished to see the world — but felt held back by infrastructure and society. Something clicked.
Out of that conversation came Rising Star Khilte Chehre — our pledge to organise fully-accessible journeys for differently-abled travellers across India and the world. Our Vision is for every disabled person to say with a heart full of confidence and a mind without fears that “Yes I Can Travel” — empowering them with dignity, personal confidence, social inclusion and positive attitudes toward disability.
